Wow it's been some time. Been busy with uni, uni, uni, work, night outs. I've also fallen sick. again. Thank god it's a mild bug. Not as hardcore as my three-week infection.

Trying to balance out stress levels and work/play time. Kim's birthday tomorrow ;) Eve friday night. study all weekend. wee it's not that bad. love the feeling (miss it actually) after u've handed in something or after uv had a productive day lol.

am going back to Perth in ..... less than 2 weeks. damn it's gone so quick. can't believe i missed the snow this year. Queenstown is a must for skiing next winter (gemma's coming then and so are my cousins!) oh and spring finally arrived! unfortunately the weather's still awful lol.

Well, how are things, fellow readers? To be honest, I've been well. That's the first lol.

Past few weeks have gone by too quickly though. Too little time to catch up on work and to meet due dates. The cocktail on thurs night went well, as we ended the night with karaoke again. Went to buy a pair of kicks and finally, a soccer ball on the weekend. doubt ill have the time to kick around much but anyway. can't wait to play lots of futsal in summer.

I worked all day sat and sun, worked! shop interior is pretty, the theme is pretty much black, glass-y and mirror-y. My bosses are in fact designing the clothes so yeah, plenty of interesting one-off pieces.

Unexpectedly went out Sat night to an event i was suppose to "promote" for (lol, didn't do a very good job at that). and by sunday night, my whole body felt like it was about to fall off. lol so sore everywhere.

I've been reflecting and thinking over things in the past few days.
A transitory phase is one I'm facing at the moment.
still getting to know people, expanding my connections etc.
great to have a new job though, nice to have moolah coming in once in a while.
i've also decided that i shouldn't have to see people i don't need or want to. life is too short to put up with unnecessary drama/hassle. (something i seriously need to work on)
family definitely comes first, after all they're always going to/have to be there.
definitely missing my loved ones back in perth <3

The weather's been a b i t c h around here. Otherwise all is well, everyday is pretty much a routine. Was on the tram earlier (pretty much my dominant form of travelling), and I realised that time went by so quickly cos I had my ipod on. It usually takes 20 mins to get to uni and time would go by sooo slowly and everyone just stares at each other and at people getting off/on (awkward much).

Oh and guess what, Air Asia is launching Melb - Kl for RM 99 one way starting from November. They're taking bookings tomorrow guys so be first in! Lol my first time on AA.

The cocktail is tomorrow night, figured I'd go with my white ruffled dress I bought a few months ago and still havent worn. It's simple, but simplicity always flatters and is no doubt the safer option. I found a black silk sash which I'll be using as a belt. (I always forget what I have and it helps to dig through drawers to find unexpected treasures).

AH hello. The weekend's gone by so quickly. I went to see Mcfadden at the Palms on friday night and oh gee, guess who turned up!!!!! DELTA! oh she's soo gorgeous!!! even more gorgeous in real life. she looked like a real supermodel, taking over macpherson's footsteps. she even went up to do "Almost here" with her fiance.Bumped into Ricki Lee on the way out, got a picture with her.

What else. Oh I'm coveting over the Chloe Paraty in tortoise green/black and those Balmain fringe boots. It's okay, am working on my willpower.

Went to k last night (got a last minute room at Pworld.) Good night it was, filled with unexpected fun. Got a pair of bejewelled flats today, my first purchase in..7 days? Can't wait to get this sem over and done with (summer summer summer- kl kl kl bkk macau sg CHEAP THRILLS <3) Cousin's getting married in december and so is a close family friend.

To me, and I'm sure to many many others, Ziyi Zhang (currently dating Vivi Nevo, one of the richest in NY) is the ultimate icon of Chinese beauty. Her petite figure, soft features and enchanting eyes give a very warm feel to her presence. Not forgetting her very "real, candid-like" smile which she often shows in public.

These photos from Bazaar, are amazing. My favourite would be the very first picture, where she really seems like she is having fun, smiling away. She looks perfect in the dresses, and she pulls them off as if as they are from her very own wardrobe.

On the Loubette! The much-loved shoe clasps, ahh. The very colour itself, such a pretty shade Personally I'm not much of a pink fan but voila, I think this is it!

I've been such a bum, procrastinating to get all my uniwork done. Instead I.. eat, go to the gym, and who knows. The weekend was average, went out to qbh for some joint event on saturday. The actual venue is pretty great, as the dance floor is surprisingly MASSIVE (it's the biggest I've come across so far? even compared to mos). but yeah it was perhaps because i went with a little group and there were so so many randoms (some were strange?). What else did I get up to. I got an LBD, yes another one. This time it's slightly different. You fold a sheet of 5cm by 2cm sheet of paper lengthwise, so you get some sort of flap, and yeah theres about 300 of those flaps on my dress. ok thats sounds weird but it creates some sort of ... tier-ing/flapping effect. Quite an interesting buy. Didn't get up to much on the weekend really.

Am attending my first lecture for some units today haha (it's already week 3). I figured that I take 3 hours to do an hour worth of audio lecture at home so yeah its a must to go today. Catch you guys later. x

Am currently tucked in my doona, watching the opening of the Olympics! Amazing stuff i must say. It's nice to see all the countries and people collaborating once in every coupla years. Anyway, the maid and butler party last night turned out pretty good, will steal some pictures and post em up. Interesting outfits and surprisingly everyone dressed up. Met quite a few people from Kl and so on. Zacky turned up at the end, and saved me from a bit of drama <3 lol Was in Fed square just then waiting for the olympics to begin. Some mates were there organising some booths and tents. Quite a bit of people even though the weather's crap. Oh yeah, had dinner at um Number 8 tonight. It was alright, good but nothing spesh. Creme brulee was probably the best order?

Suri has been on paparazzi-ed so much in the past few days and if you know me, i find her THE most adorable kid ever. She's changed so much since she was younger Her hair has gotten much much lighter and her skin, oh man it is soo white (pale?) She is defintely cute, no doubt, but I reckon she looks peculiar at times too. She could look scary, like she could star as a baby ghost lol. Enjoy these. x Oh and have a lovely weekend.

My beaver, Zacky, came over from Perth for a visit. Being the busy bee that he always is, I somehow managed to hang out with him today. Took him around, did a bit of shopping and then onto a lovely dinner at Koko. I'm still on the holiday mode, thus am very behind uni (life is good). Looking forward to the weekend. Birthday thursday night, and some event at QBH on sat. I'm still on antibiotics so some self-control with drinks is needed this weekend. Havent' been doing much, been tired. Head is heavy. Still haven't got the maid outfit for thurs, going into another costume shop tomorrow. A fairly ugly outfit I found at a costume shop at Hardware Lane was 70 bucks. It was way too long and .. ugly. No luck there.

I've decided I'd rather hibernate for the next four months than be outdoors, being blown about by melb's gustyy winds. So yeah next few months consist of heaps of dvds, my furry doona and hot chocolate. It only starts to get warm in oct/nov(temperatures around 15-25), how stuuupid. I swear I will make sure I only live in a tropical country when I have my own family (no not malaysia lol) Anyway did a bit of shopping today. Got THE shoes. THE shoes! Finally found em, after all these months. in some random shoe boutique. Theyre black patent. A feminine version of the heeled gladiators. It's heel is the major attraction. It is indeed, slim and high! As I've mentioned, it is so hard to find a lovely pair of pumps these days without absolutely burning your pockets. They're usually all too chunky and rough. Anyway I'm off to watch WANTED in a little bit. Can't wait, heard it's even better than The Dark Knight. I've been a major slacker in Uni, must start going to classes next week. Must also go costume shopping (maid outfit is a must) for Valerie's birthday. It's gna be hilarious strutting around Chinatown in that outfit. Ps what does everyone think of Jess's (from the Veronica's) leaked pictures haha. x

Hi again. Have not fully recovered but am well enough to update. Ok, so much has happened. Basically, B and the boy have gone back to Perth. So it's just me, but the rents are back from NZ so its all good. Thank god for the company and love (you get lots of that when you're sick). Ok first major event is...... let's see. Ok my phone died, maybe I wouldn't call it an event but it is some sad ass happening. I wish to replace it with a Black Lg enV2. Do Check it out(on ebay or the lg website) if you guys have the time and let me know what you think of it. The death of my phone meant that 1) I've lost all my contacts 2) I've lost all pictures and videos of my loved ones 3) I've lost all key dates! Yeah I'm pretty screwed. For now I've gotta stick to an old nokia model. lol come to think about it, it's only a fricken phone. It sucks to be way too dependent on technology. I wish I could live like a caveman (only having basic necessities such as food (raw meat off the bone) and shelter (bits of big fat leaves covering my head) - minus the nice bags and shoes lol)

Ok Secondly, I've been in bed for 5 days or longer even. Had a massive fever/cold/flu. It's gone down today so it's all good. the fever kept coming and going and i swear i thought i was about to die. I've actually been continuously ill since Perth. It's bloody amazing. First the cold for 2 weeks then the pause for 2 days (I thought I had recovered) then the FEVER. I blame the cold. Right now I'm coughing like some Bronchitis patient. So much phlegm, gross. Getting my arse out of bed and to uni for an hour later.

Um what else. Oh I've been borrowing heaps of dvds from the video shop downstairs. Lol, that was all we got up to while B/He/I was sick. Factory Girl was good, American Pie Beta House was cheesy as. I wnat to watch Chocolatt and Amelie!!! Still haven't gotten around to downloading/borrowing them.

Strangely, the weather is soo good. It's so so sunny out there, clear blue skies. I feel like a pathetic person just lying on the couch all day. I did manage to do a bit of shopping while B was here. Picked up 5/6 tops (my dress fetish has died down) and some other bits and pieces like a jacket. I've been in the same trackies and jumper for 5 days! Embarrassing much. Time for a lovely warm shower, then off to a tute.

are coming to an end! Got my sem 2 timetable- an hour on mondays, 2 hours on tuesdays and an hour on thursdays. Been a slug on here cos theyre both over. Been having quite an eventful and exhausting week. Went out friday and saturday night despite the flu. Went to preview on Friday (foc night haha thanks becky) and to seven on saturday (they wanted to check it out, I personally don't like the place). Been shopping with B. She's bought the whole of Melb. Oh, I also watched The Dark Knight, pretty much one of the best movies I've seen although there were some bits I didn't get which means I have to watch it again. It was weird seeing our very own Ledger in it though, he was so good as Joker. But it just gave me the chills just watching him. act. scarily. But yeah, they're saying that he's expected to get an oscar this year. What else, oh went to the Crown twice in the past two days. B seems to like the cas as she got to win 50 bucks. Going to Art Deco exhibition on Wed night and the zoo during the day. not that much out there that I'd like to buy actually, most things are ugly, or just too expensive (and wonderful). Just borrowed some dvds from downstairs. Fool's Gold is pretty bad, but I love Kate Hudson so therethere. Can't wait to watch Factory Girl. Off to a long day of shopping and drinks tmr night. x. ps. how is everybody!

Have been too busy and tired for the past few days thus haven't been posting. Got to Melb yday morning 4.50am (est), slept all the way through till 1.30 and went out to show B around. Didn't end up going out last night as we were too tired and cold. Still deciding on where to go tonight. But defos shopping again in the daytime. The plane trip was alright. Good thing there wasn't any delays (which Qantas is famous for).

Ps. new season for GG comes out on Sept 1 (which is yonks away). Can't wait though, it's gna be set in the South Hamptons.

I hate the cold..... but at least it's not so bad over here, pretty similar to Perth weather. We got our tans done the other day (my first time) and omg I thought it turned out disastrous in the first 7 hours but thank god it washes off and goes all even after that. But it looks good now, all browned up. it's 11.50am here and i'm starving. The boy is still sleeping as I've gotten HIM sick now. I must upload pictures from my camera as I've promised myself to but .... I'll do it later.

Have been browsing through quite a bit of Ginger&Smart stuff. I LOVE IT! Go onto vogue.com.au and search up their stuff during Rosemount FW and tell me what you think. especially of those fringe sandals!!!!!!! Saw a lovely pair of shoes yday but part of it is made out of......velcro. Not sure if it's gna look cheapish or if it's worth the moolah. Kept them on hold till the end of today so I can keep browsing for the perfect pair.

Been sick for the past 2 days, haven't had the energy to blog. or go out. But I did go out for dinner tonight. It was lovely. Had some rip-off tiger prawns, cold octopus and frites lol. I love that word, frites. He came over to cook me porridge today while I was in bed, twas kinda cute. And I've got to see lots of people before I leave on Wed night.

I figured something in the past few weeks I've been here. Realised that I've grown so much as a person since I've moved to Melb. I guess it's the experience in a busier city and also having to be more independent, moving out of my comfort zone and having to try new things. Coming back here, I realised that heaps of my old mates (those who were very close and those who were not so) have rather different values and perspectives of things. I am comfortable to say that I've moved on from that stage they are currently in. (as most of us do go through that stage). And I guess I'm content to be where I stand today. I'm just hoping for the best for all of them as they experiment with life and am also hoping that one day most if not all of us, will cross paths and be on the same wavelength as one another.

I miss my rents already. Off to eat some leftovers. I'm always hungarrrry. x

COLD. Absolutely gay. As a result of too much drinking, too little clothing. Am excited for tomorrow's dinner party. Gna prepare kebabs of some sort, most probably chicken as I'm anti-pork (due to it's smell) and beef (it's hard texture), as an entree but not sure about the mains yet. So far there's lasagna on the menu, salmon, pies and quiches, possibly a salad. And not forgetting dessert too. Any suggestions? Messy messy night. Am promising myself to never drink again. Lol yes I know, you all think it's bulldust but seriously, I'm off that evil doing...................lol for the next week or so at least. I hate the vomit, the nausea, the bloatedness, the mess. One smart and obvious advice would be to never wear your "favourite" something when you're planning on getting smashed. I feel both guilt and sorrow for my suede shoes and jacket.

But anyway, I'm hungry. hungry for clothes and food (BEER BATTERED FRIES, BANANA LEAF RICE). Brain refuses to cooperate today. Anyone know what I can do to help existing braincells to duplicate quicker, or to help produce more of them?

OH man, my whole post got erased, not sure how. So here I am again, trying to recall what was written before.

This year has been so different. I've moved from a quiet and familiar suburb, to a much larger and perhaps scary (is the word) city, lost touch and at the same time made new friends, gave up certain interests but picked up new ones along the way, and most importantly, I've loved and lost.

It is always hard to let go. But one must learn to do so because time will not wait for us. We can only help ourselves by lifting our feet off the ground and moving onto the next chapter. I can only hope for the best for that person and hope that he is somewhere beautiful, far far away where real peace and serenity can be met.

I was thinking when I woke up this morning. What are some things that annoy me?

The list goes on but here are a few of them :
1) on-going noise (people talking, rattling pots and pans/shuffling of furniture,radio/tv) and light (very sensitive) while I'm asleep/trying to sleep.
2) waking up tired- this is bad, it spoils my day cos I can't do things to the best of my ability as my batteries arent fully charged. I also get more sensitive (cranky in other words).
3) Forgetting my toothbrush- I did that last night, ended up having to use my fingers haha (bad experiment, doesn't work. just leaves the minty taste/breath afterwards).
4) PIMPLES on forehead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - omg what the hell is wrong with me. been having skin nightmares for the past few weeks. is it the wrong facewash/toner/moisturiser? not eating healthy enough? not drinking enough water? someone tell me please, or perhaps suggest a good remedy? ps, I have long hair, does it have something to do with that?
5) Red, dry eyes (due to contacts? light? heaters?)- have had a problem with that for the past 6 months. eye drops can't save me. IN NEED OF A BETTER TREATMENT.
6) beaches with warm/hot-ish water- can't do. my mind gets too creative and thinks up reasons for such temperature (perhaps excretion overload?)
7) messssiness. I mightn't be the cleanest person, but I just can't do clutter (it's probably because the mother's a clean freak too). There's a saying something along the lines of "You reflect the state that your bedroom is in. If it's in a mess, it means that your mind is perhaps in an uneasy state where you have outstanding problems to sort. If it's clean and spacious, it usually (not all the time) means that you are happy and .... free?" lol.

Dinner tonight with a gf I haven't seen in 3 years! Can't wait x

Classic colours. Oh so sexy! I love the very first oufit. Lace, feather (?). What an amazing structure assuming the material would be rather airy. Would never be able to pull off the last outfit and the third one but still, they're crazy (in a good way) on the eyes. The last outfit is very different in terms of it's shape. Reminded me of Nicholas Ghesquiere's creations from a few months ago. Nice.

I had one of those days today where I could never get full, was always hungry, craving or fidgety for food. Ate so much - durian, chicken, more chicken, chocolate, a lot more chocolate and more durian again and proper food in between. Ah it was satisfying. It's 11.08pm and I'm no longer hungry because my brain's gone into pre-sleep mode. Went to visit my highschool today during after-hours. It was... sad. I walked around the quadrangle by myself, had images of old times running through my head. I miss it. I miss the noise, the familiarity, the closeness. Well life goes on, I've closed that chapter of my life. It's better to have experienced than to not have had at all. I need exercise. I need some loveee. I need a real holiday. x

Had a lovely night, caught up with the girls for dinner at Terrazza. Pasta wasn't the best but was edible. Had a lovely chat with KK in the arvo, was just nice to chill and talk about recent stuff. R was over at the boy's tonight so we had a very deep convo about ... life? Got pretty spiritual, learnt a few things from him. Was very nice to know that life was a lot more than what's on the surface. Anyway can't wait to have a good night sleep (like last night's, sleep is the best hangover remedy I must admit).

Yeah feels like it's been a while since I last blogged. K last night was pretty fun, and dirty haha. Spilt drinks everywhere and by the end of the night my shoes and thighs were sticky as from baileys and vodka. Also ended up wiping out chunks of what happened due to over-indulging in unhealthy substances. Woke up at 6am, stomach was queasy, hence rushed to the toilet to do the V activity. That was the first round, got up an hour later and did it again. Surprisingly two rounds was it. Ok never again, I'm off boozing for the next 3 days. Still hungover now eurrrgh.

Borrowed Air Babylon a few days ago, lovin all of Imogen's series. So tired as I'm writing this, plans for the week are... lunch with KayKay tmr, dinner with the girls. must also squeeze in my other half in between. tuesday, ah it's cheap ass Tuesdays- half price waffles and spending the day with Amy. Wednesday, ahh can't think that far. 18 more days til Melb. Cannot wait. I MISS MY BED.

Watched "The Boleyn Girl" today. Not too bad I guess, as it's based on a true story. I can't seem to choose between the two. Their beauty are extremes of one another. Natalie being doll-like , possessing the perfectest features. Scarlett aka our century's curvalicious Marilyn Monroe. Anyway, it poured today. Hate stepping into puddles. Rain makes me mad, sans an umbrella. Can't wait to watch "The Love Guru"! Comes out on the 10th. Was planning our summer trip around Asia again today.

So the plan is looking something like this.

Looking extremely forward to Thailand. Thais are so hot, and their food ahhh heaven andddddd not forgetting, it's so so much cheaper! Gotta start saving up though. Macau should be good too, a mini Vegas, minus the warehouse shopping. It's also good that I'll get to have sufficient dosages of hot and cold weather ;) My pale skin is so icky atm. I look sick.

Am watching Season 2 of SATC. They released Season 1 exactly a decade ago which explains why their outfits are ancient. But the girls are still as cool and fun as ever.

you walk into expensive shops and some of the workers in there are so anal, they think they're the hottest piece of ass so they check u out from top to bottom when u make an entrance (making me feel littler than my 153cm self) Ha. That happened today. Couldn't be bothered dressing up to the shops so I ended up being the ultimate victim. Some don't acknowledge you, some do but they do it so reluctantly. They need to realise that everyone is entitled to look themselves, that people don't necessarily pile on pretty make-up and clothes to go shopping all the time. Well, it's a fact that well-dressed people do get better customer service. Guess that's a human nature. Well on the less-angry side, I found some pretty stilettos today. Didn't get to grab em as I was rushing for time. It's so hard to find pretty pumps atm, well affordable ones anyway. Most of the affordable shoes right now are chunky and I already have a few of them. And the stiletto pumps out atm are ... too glam and eveningwear. I want a versatile pair!!! One I can wear to dance the night away in and one I can wear to more formal events but again it's almost impossible to find the perfect pair!

Well, I've found some (actually, LOTS) that are out of my budget. Hope you like em too. I'll post em on the next post.

Had a fairly average night. Got my hair cut, got layers done, but not the extreme mullet like the good ol embarrassing days- ah how light my head feels now. Squeezed in a K sesh after. There really isn't much to do in Perth. Pretty green surroundings, clean air. Beautiful people, that's about it? Have actually been craving to go skiing/island hopping (total extreme cases of weather). After posting "PLACES I WANT TO GO", Bora would be perfect right now. I miss the beach, I miss the hot hot sticky weather (as the grass is always greener on the other side), I miss the...SUN. Winter makes me sad, and boring. And rain makes me sad..DER. I've got lunch dates with the girls whom I haven't seen for monthsss for the rest of this week which I'm looking forward to.

I've decided on a last attempt on blogging. The other two failed miserably as I left them hanging after 2 entries. So.....I've decided, this is gna be a page where I can ramble on about stuff that doesn't fit in my everyday conversation. So be prepared to read about nothingness, and bits and bobs of my daily life and my inspirations.

Perhaps I shall introduce myself. Standing at 153-158cm tall(depending on the shoes), they call me an 18 year old "FEMALE ENERGIZER BUNNY". Short but powerful. Ha . A youngan , who has just moved to a big big city (Melbourne- where I'm so insignificant and loving it), and currently, STUDYING (I hate that word) in uni. Have a bunch of dreams I'd like to pursue. I'll talk about them as we go along or else this entry will take up 1000 pages.

Nothing interesting happened today, the usual. Woke up, had a salami focaccia, took ages to get ready (according to him, but you know, ages for them is like 10 minutes), had lunch with B, my... twinsister. well not really, she just happens to be Asian also and my bestfriend so we refer ourselves as that. And here I am at his place. On his computer. Attempting to blog. Hope this lasts. No plans for tonight. Ah Perth on a Monday night. What is there to do? I'll leave it as that.
